The server license determines how many devices of each type can be bound to the PalmOrder Server.
Activation
- In the control panel, open License.
- Enter the received license key.
- Click Activate License.
- Make sure the status changes to active and the available limits are displayed in the table.
During activation, the server contacts the licensing service, receives a signed license and stores it locally. For normal customer exchange, a permanent connection to the licensing service is not required.
Device limits
A license may contain separate limits for types FULL, MEDIUM and LITE. When approving the pairing request, the administrator selects the type of new device.

A recalled device no longer takes up space in the limit.
Demo mode
If the license has not been activated yet, the server works in demo mode. In it, you can bind one device and perform two exchanges after each server start.
The demo mode is convenient for checking the connection and the first pairing. For permanent work, activate the license before starting the real exchange.
License renewal
The server tries to renew the active license automatically. The License section displays its status. If the status does not update or an update error occurs, please contact PalmOrder Support.
If the license has become invalid or has been revoked, new pairings and exchanges are blocked until the current status is restored.
