The gl_settings table transfers service settings for the Android application from the accounting system. It is downloaded as a regular XML table.
gl_settings fields
| Field | Type | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
code | TEXT KEY | Parameter name. One record per code. |
value | TEXT | Parameter value. |
Administrative settings password
The ADMIN_USER_PASS code sets the password for opening protected administrative settings in the mobile application.
This is a separate client password. It does not change the PalmOrder Server control panel password and is not used for device pairing.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<table name="gl_settings">
<schema>
<field name="code" type="TEXT KEY"/>
<field name="value" type="TEXT"/>
</schema>
<data>
<record>
<f>ADMIN_USER_PASS</f>
<f>ReplaceWithYourPassword</f>
</record>
</data>
</table>
Replace the example value with your own password before use. If there is no ADMIN_USER_PASS record, the application uses admin.
