PalmOrder is a commercial application for mobile order processing and field work. This Privacy Policy explains how PalmOrder processes information when you use the application.
PalmOrder processes the information needed to provide the service to your organisation. Depending on the configuration provided by your organisation, this may include your name, account or login details, device information, order and payment information, customer information, and application diagnostic data.
PalmOrder can access the precise location of your mobile device only when GPS tracking is enabled in the application settings. Location tracking is an optional feature used to record the route and work visits of a field representative and to display them in the PalmOrder GPS service at gps.palmorder.com.
When GPS tracking is enabled, the application may collect and send location coordinates while the application is in use and, if the tracking service is configured to run, while it is in the background. The application uses this data only for the route-tracking and visit-confirmation functions requested by your organisation. PalmOrder does not use location data for advertising and does not sell it.
You can stop location collection at any time by disabling GPS tracking in PalmOrder or by revoking the location permission in your device settings. Disabling it can limit route-tracking and visit-confirmation features.
Information is used to provide and support PalmOrder, synchronise work data, process orders, and operate the features enabled for your organisation. Data, including location data when enabled, is shared only with your organisation and its authorised users through the PalmOrder services. It may also be processed by service providers that host or support those services, solely to provide the service.
Your organisation determines the work data and retention period configured for its PalmOrder account. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, but no internet transmission or electronic storage method is completely secure.
For questions about the data processed for your organisation, first contact your organisation's PalmOrder administrator. For questions about this Privacy Policy or requests related to PalmOrder services, contact us at office@palmorder.com.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at this address.
